Tiancheng's pharmacokinetic research system originated from the Pharmacokinetic Laboratory established by Academician Liu Changxiao in 1968. It is the oldest professional institution for pharmacokinetic research in China, gathering the wisdom and experience of several generations of researchers. During the "Ninth Five Year Plan" to "13th Five Year Plan" period, it successfully completed multiple national level major scientific and technological projects and was able to undertake preclinical in vitro/in vivo pharmacokinetic research that meets the requirements of new drug registration Clinical pharmacokinetic research has completed hundreds of new drug development projects. Relying on the "State Key Laboratory of Drug Release Technology and Pharmacokinetics", we have continued to invest in basic research of pharmacokinetics, focused on technology exploration, kept up with the international frontier, and took a leading position in the research fields of innovative dosage forms, pharmacokinetics, drug transporters, etc.
